New excitement in Aagami

Well, Aagami has done well this year and I am on a third trip to India with a new client. This is 4th clients visit this year and in this visit I will also be doing work for another two clients again first time for them. So this year has been a key that Aagami really arrived as the company.

We are not only supporting various clients but these are various types of clients. right from early stage Malaria therapeutic and prophylactic company, a Protein therapeutics clinical stage novel compounds, Molecular diagnostic in Cardiology, Clinical stage re-purposed molecule in Oncology, Re-purposing (Reprofiling) of molecules technology,  Peptides API, Nanostructured Solar Cells, Natural oil based Mosquito repellents to novel dermal delivery based cosmeceuticals. Hence a full variety of different molecules and technological deals.

Also we have strengthened relationship with India based pManifold Business solutions and have started our market research analyst with them. We started doing this since February and so far it has gone well.  

closing 2010 on a positive note

It has been an exhilarating 2010 with several new customers and finally coming out out of the ditch economically. Visited India with 3 customers, also visited Japan and Canada for business promotion. In fact Japan was more like a pilgrimage for 2 reasons as it was after 8 years that I was visiting the country and secondly I was an invited guest of City of Yokohama and JETRO.

First half of the marquee year

Well this is the second post of the year and half the year has already gone. Something is telling me that this is going to be the marquee year in Aagami History. We will come out with flying colors and this year, the tenth, of Aagami will prove to the year that does justice to my change in career and founding this company.

Early on we got 3 new clients and kept serving the previous clients. We let one client lapse as they kept paying us, but without getting any work done. Felt really nice and proud of the fact. Another client caused a BIG heartburn, as we brought them a major deal from an Indian company but they decided not to take it and also put a stop on their India initiative. For a third client we visited India and now have a deal matured to the Term Sheet level. Another client became very happy with our service although did get the result that they wanted.

The work for the new clients is also going well. We have already made much more in these six months in consulting revenue then we ever did in 6 months period ever. We are looking forward to some major deal successes in the remaining 6 months.

Aagami has also started its India center mainly to do Business and Market Research. First 5 months of the same have also been productive. Added many new dimensions to the company like Facebook page, new LinkedIn group called Global Life Science Business India (GLSBI), white papers on Drug Discovery Scenario in India, Cradiac Diagnostic Devices market in India and Asia etc.

So really looking forward to providing further impetus in being truly a Strategic Consulting company in Life sciences focused to India for our Global Clients. 

First post of 2012

Well, here I am with my first post of 2012 within the month. well, I am not sure is it bad or good; but it is so.

The year has begun well work wise. Even in personal life things are OK, except I am see-sawing between many emotions. Duty vs feelings; doing right thing for self vs meeting others expectations; etc.

Life is quite an interesting journey and I guess the end is never there, it is a continuous journey and even in death, it transposes to another life form and continues.

I have learnt that we are nothing but our emotions and emotions arise from expectations and wants. And so if we could conquer our wants and expectations then we shall be able to conquer our emotions. In other words conquer ourselves.

So who am I, if nothing but my emotional existence? writing it in another way it is e-motion, just like e-file, e-governance etc. so e-motion like all other kind of e-xxxxx also exists in the virtual world and not in physical world. So we are really virtual, the physicality is just a manifestation of our virtual (or is it virtuous) reality. Wow!!! What a thought, I am myself impressed.
